Cassia find escapism in bright, blissful melodies, but beneath the surface is a deep well of introspection. Together, Rob Ellis (lead vocals/guitar), Lou Cotterill (bass) and Jake Leff (drums) create cathartic songs that take full control of their emotions. DOMINIK HARTZ
Dominik Hartz ist ein Tausendsassa. Mit fünf Jahren Klavierunterricht bekommen, im Alter von 13 Jahren Schlagzeug gelernt, sich mit 16 selbst Gitarre beigebracht, seit gefühlt immer Gedichte geschrieben, schon zu Jugendzeiten mehrere Bands gegründet und nach dem Abitur Schauspiel studiert. Nebenbei hat er noch jedes Hobby ausprobiert, dass in seinem kleinen Heimatort angeboten wurde (Tennis, Reiten, Basketball, you name it) und zwischendurch auch noch mehrere Monate in Melbourne als Straßenmusiker gelebt. Hartz ist ein Mensch, der viel ausprobiert. Auch musikalisch ist er wandelbar. Hartz liebäugelt mit Hiphop, aber fühlt sich genauso wohl im Indiepop. Der ist mal lässig, mal leicht, manchmal selbstreflektiert ironisch und oft doch sehr tiefgründig.
